Larry & Deb Soehner ordered our Tavern Shelf in oak finished in Medium Cherry with some unique custom work done. They kept the 48″ width and 8″ depth, but requested the piece be built in a “double decker” configuration, where height was nearly doubled by adding a second shelf level. The picture above is the mock up design, but is very close to what the shelf ended up looking like. Larry and Deb were very happy with the shelf.
Would it be possible to order a "double decker" tavern shelf with oak shelves and backing but have the rest of the shelf be painted black? I would also want the pegs to be oak. I want the contrast between the black and the natural oak.
