We are showing the Shaker Mission leg table in Quarter Sawn White Oak with a self storing butterfly leaf. The table has tapered legs and a beveled edge. Current size is 42″ x 66″ and the butterfly leaf is 18″ for a total of 84″ when fully extended.
As you can see the leaf self stores inside the table. First lift up the apron which will be folded down, secondly flip the entire leaf forward towards the other side of the table, thirdly move the second apron piece forward, lift the folded top of the table towards you and it will unfold to become the leaf. Lastly push the ends of the table together to close the table. The butterfly leaf is a great feature to gain more table space. It’s easy to open and stow away.
